What happens
Discovery Session
In 60 minutes on Zoom, we find out where you are, what's holding you back and what will help most.
Personalized plan
Within 48 hours, you receive the session recording (download your recording within 7 days) and a personal action plan, yours to keep whether or not you continue.
Ongoing sessions
If you join, we meet one-on-one on Zoom and work through your plan, adjusting it as you grow.
60 minutes on Zoom for $200, paid when you book.
Your $200 Discovery Session is credited in full toward your first payment when you join within 14 days.

Choose a time
Times show in your own time zone.
Give at least 24 hours' notice and we'll find a new time at no charge. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full and not refunded. The same rule applies to the Discovery Session. Terms
I consent to recording (for myself, or as the parent or guardian of the student). Zoom records and transcribes each session, and the recording is shared with me. Jake uses Claude (by Anthropic) for notes and to draft an action plan from the transcript and my form answers. Jake deletes his copies of recordings, transcripts and notes 12 months after the last session, or sooner if I ask. Privacy

Before you book
How does the Discovery Session credit work?
Your $200 Discovery Session is credited in full toward your first payment when you join within 14 days.
After your Discovery Session, I send you a private link to book your first ongoing session with the $200 already taken off. The credit is tied to the email you booked with, and the 14 days start on the day of your Discovery Session. I'll email you the exact expiry date.
Can my child work with you?
A parent or guardian books for anyone under 18 and is present for the whole Discovery Session when the student is under 16. Students aged 16 and 17 may attend alone with a parent's or guardian's consent.
Do I need to play an instrument?
No. Tier 1 is drumset for all levels, beginners included, and Tiers 2 and 3 welcome non-musicians. You do not need to play an instrument to benefit from many of these sessions.
What do I need for a session?
Zoom on a computer, tablet or phone, and your instrument nearby if you play. The booking calendar shows times in your own time zone.
